Description
The NAKAMURA Kimono reversible with its woven Prince of Wales check pattern, is the basic kimono for any wardrobe. Its classic, refined pattern, revisited with its little burgundy flower, is a timeless basic with unparalleled elegance!
It elegantly replaces a suit jacket with more modernity and originality.
New: it is available in two handle finishes to choose from:
– three-quarter sleeves t finished with 3 small retained pleats, worn like a blouse
– long sleeves flared, finished with generous lapels.
The wide Obi belt highlights the waist, but the NAKAMURA kimono can also be worn without an Obi belt since it is crossed and closed on each side with burgundy ties which keep it in place.
The NAKAMURA kimono is reversible. thanks to its hem finishes and its French seam assembly without overlock. (fully tucked seams)

All our jacquard woven textiles are organic and labeled Ökotex 100, without chemicals harmful to humans.

In close partnership with our regional weaver, fter having refined the patterns and quality of the yarns together, we have the necessary measurements made to process your orders. This avoids dormant stocks of fabrics and saves energy.
Then it’s the cutting and sewing stage in our artisanal workshop in Grenoble. All our time is dedicated to handmade work with the best level of quality and finish sought.
No hasty overlock sewing, but beautiful English seams according to the rules of the art, which make all our kimonos reversible.
We thus participate in preserving the artisanal work of sewing in France,
the training of seamstresses on a work-study basis,
regional economic development and the limitation of transport and CO2 emissions.
